It's been a few months, and we are LONG overdue for a new post! Lots has happened since Christopher's first birthday! I think that most everybody already knows, but just in case - We are expecting baby #2, a girl, in August :) We are very excited!
Christopher has been keeping everyone very busy since he started walking a couple of months ago. He actually officially started walking when Chris and I were on vacation in Miami in February. He was taking a couple of steps at a time before we left and was full-blown walking by the time we got home. Now he is so good at walking that he tries to run most places - especially when he is very excited.
He has been talking a lot more, and his vocabulary now includes mom, dad, thank you (this is the newest and is being said about 1,000 times a day), yeah/yep, ball, dog (sometimes), juice (trying), and more (usually only when referring to snacks!) :) He is like a little person now, and it's so fun to see all of the changes taking place!
He has been growing like a weed lately. He goes for his 15 month check-up next week, but we think he is weighing in at almost 29 pounds with a height of 32 inches, if not more! He has really thinned out, but feels like a solid pile of bricks when you pick him up! He has had several ear infections within the past year, so he will be getting tubes this Friday. We are hoping that they help him out because his ears really seem to always bother him. Keep your fingers crossed that it helps, and we will let you know how it goes!
