11 Weeks

Happy Spring! Boy are we glad that the weather is finally nice and we can spend some time outside! Christopher seems to really like the outdoors, and he loves going for walks. He even fits in his little umbrella stroller now.

He seems to be growing by the day lately and is weighing in at a hefty 14 pounds (possibly more!). He's been sleeping much better. He has only been getting up once during the night and has recently slept completely through the night a few times, which really makes Mom, Dad and Grandma very happy campers :) I started back to work last week, so it has been pretty hectic around here, but the little guy is enjoying his time with Grandma Lucky! Needless to say, I think he is getting S-P-O-I-L-E-D!

We will be home for a few weeks in June and are looking forward to meeting everyone!

Hard to believe it has been almost 2 months! Six weeks seems to be the magic age - He has started smiling and cooing at us and is only getting up once during the middle of the night to eat! He has made friends with the red button and dancing bears on his swing and will sit and smile and coo at them :) We go to the doctor this Friday for our 8 week check-up and first set of shots...wish us luck!

Christopher had his one month check-up a few days ago and is the proud new owner of 3 pounds (yes, I typed that correctly, and yes, he loves to eat) and 2 new inches!

A BIG star is born! Christopher Michael Hess - 8lb 4oz - 21 inches.
Since most of you do not live nearby, Chris and I thought we would create a blog to share photos and whatnot to keep everyone up to date. We will do our best to keep this updated since we have so much spare time now - Ha!

Time flies - he is already one month old! He is definitely a feisty little bugger, and lets us know when he wants something! He's a sweet little guy, though, minus diaper/clothes changing and feedings :) He has just started sleeping 3 hours at a time (crossing our fingers that will continue).
I'm sure most of you have seen these pictures via e-mail/facebook, but just in case... We will update soon with some more!
